Rise and Fall, the latest expansion to Civilization 6, is finally live on Mac. This was just confirmed by Aspyr, the studio in charge of the MacOS and Linux version.
Released for Windows on February 2, 2018, Rise and Fall isn’t your average expansion with a few more units and maps. Instead, it makes significant enhancements to the game, daring to play with the fundamentals and make bold changes and additions.
Rise and Fall vastly improves the original Civ 6, making one of the top strategy games for Mac even better.
Sure, it also includes the expected new units, leaders, buildings, and wonders, but Rise and Fall’s real appeal are the new gameplay features such as a new Loyalty system, Golden and Dark ages, improved Alliances and more.
The game’s lead designer, Anton Strenger, does a good job further explaining what the main new features are all about over here.
