This latest Humble Bundle includes $234 worth of great games for $15

It's no secret I've become a fan of Humble Bundle.

They have great sales, occasionally give away games for free, and in spite of all the competition, they still offer the best bundles in gaming.

I won't criticize any particular store, but many are full of cheap bundles that are themselves full of cheap games. The problem is most of those games are mediocre at best. Not Humble Bundles.

Humble Classics Return Bundle

In this case, the Humble Classics Return Bundle offers the following games for only $15:

Pay what you want:

  • Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse
  • Shadowrun Returns
  • Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure
  • Shadowrun: Dragonfall

Pay more than the average:

  • Shadowrun Hong Kong
  • Wasteland 2: Director's Cut
  • Age of Wonders 3
  • Xenonauts

Pay $15 or more:

  • Torment: Tides of Numenera
  • Dreamfall Chapters: The Final Cut Edition

Notice the quality of the games offered (I highlighted in bold those I consider among the best in Mac gaming) and remember that part of the price goes to a charity of your choosing. You can also choose to support Mac Gamer HQ if you want.

The bundle won't last forever so I suggest you head over Humble Bundle a grab yourself a copy while it lasts.

Grab Dungeons 2 for free (Expired)
February 17, 2018 - Is it me or this is somehow becoming a habit? Once again, a popular store is giving away a game for free, no questions asked.

This time GOG is giving away Dungeons 2 for Mac, Linux, and Windows. And as can be expected from every game they offer, Dungeons 2 is DRM-free and includes a 30-day money back coverage (which you won't need because, well, it's free).

And there is no catch, except that you need to pick it up now.

This giveaway is part of GOG's Chinese New Year sale. But trust me, you won't need to buy anything in order to get yourself a free game, and who knows, you may find a good MacOS game for cheap (my current favorite is Baldur's Gate 2 for $4.99).

From GOG's description:

Take control of the mighty Dungeon Lord and craft a network of unique and terrifying dungeons, recruit an army of fearsome creatures and command two new factions.

Prepare to defend your Kingdom against those pesky heroes, go above ground to wage war on their human cities and use the ‘Hand of Terror’ to take direct control over your minions, issue commands, and even dish out a swift slap to keep them in line.

The deal has only 15 more hours to go so you better hurry!
