Barely 1 year old, the Mac Gamer HQ Blog is now one of the leading Mac gaming sources, with all the latest news, reviews, guides and more.
This blog is mostly a one man adventure, mine, and I’m on a mission:
To show the world Mac Gaming is so much more than what PC Gamers want you to believe. Mac Gaming has enormous potential, with many amazing, modern games available and lots of tools to play virtually every Windows game you want.
We keep hearing that one cannot use a Mac for gaming, and unfortunately, Mac users end up believing it. But with your help, lets show the world that you do not have to chose between owning a Mac and playing video-games: You can do both.
Perhaps you already are a seasoned Mac Gamer. In that case, lets build together a strong community and help Mac gaming grow.
From Console gamer to faithful Mac fans
I unfortunately can’t say that I’m an old-school Mac Gamer. I was introduced to gaming with the original NES and stayed a console gamer until a few years ago (with the exception of some glorious moments playing Age of Empires and StarCraft on a PC!). However, after entering the Apple world, first with an iPod and then with a Macbook, I am today a self-proclaimed Apple fan boy (and I’m not ashamed of it 😉 ).
I love the Mac. I spend most of my time on it. Why should I change that to play a game? This is when I started to look into the real possibilities of Mac Gaming and as you can tell, I never turned back.
That’s my story but the Mac Gamer HQ you know today is possible thanks to top-notch contributors such as:
What’s in it for you?
Enough about me. Why should you spend one more minute here? The heart of what I have to offer is here in this blog. You will find Reviews, the latest News, Giveaways and more. But that’s not all. The Mac Gamer HQ experience also includes a Mac Gaming only YouTube Channel and presence on all the main Social networks where we only discuss Mac gaming.
