BioShock Infinite Mac Gameplay video

We waited a long time for it and now we can play it! Behold our first BioShock Infinite Mac gameplay video.

You can watch the video here or right on top of this page.

You can of course expect a review soon, very soon. Other than that, I’m glad to report the game is running smoothly and would it even call it Aspyr’s best port to date. It runs better than Borderlands 2 (which was fine) and a lot better than Black Ops.

Hey, it looks like you play this game with a controller? Which controller do you have? Are you satisfied of the controller, good support for the Mac?

    • Mac Gamer Ric

Yeah, I’m using a wired xbox 360 controller. Works out of the box on most Aspyr Games and you can install specific drivers (tattieboggle they are called) for pretty much every other game out there.
Mac support is hence good :)

I read on the MAC app store reviews that they reduced the graphics quality. Do you find that to be true? If so, what did they reduce (brightness, black levels, sharpness, pixel density, image size, etc.) and why?

  • Nosferatu

They reduced the resolutions, you can’t even go up to 1080p. Got 27″ LED real bummer, hope they patch graphic options.
Got Xbox controller works perfect on most recent titles, since they’re console ports mostly.

I didn’t notice they removed 1080p! When I’m recording I prefer to set it up at 720p to ensure better FPS. I do agree with you on the Xbox controller, it works great and I love them for first person shooters ( yeah I was more of a console gamer than PC gamer in the past). Thanks for the comment man.

Just checked it again 1600×900 max, running the Mac native version. I’m sure they will update this, I can run 2560×1440 in Win7x64 via Bootcamp no prob.
Don’t know why they limit possibilities anyway, if it doesn’t run just scale it down. But for the ppl who can run it, why limit their possibilities?
