|Braid||Braid should not need an introduction anymore. |Hotline Miami||Indie darling Hotline Miami overflows with raw brutality and skull crushing close combat as you find yourself outgunned and using your wits to choreograph your way through impossible situations. The fact it was made using Game Maker is impressive, as Hotline Miami's retro graphics are simple yet filled with personality! |League of Legends||Inspired by the infamous Defense of the Ancients MOD, League of Legends is a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) that combines role-playing and strategy elements beautifully. |Left 4 Dead 2|| Left 4 Dead 2 is a co-op action horror First-Person shooter that focuses on four new Survivors, fighting against hordes of the Infected, who develop severe psychosis and exhibit zombie-like tendencies.|

|LEGO The Lord of the Rings||Based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, Lego Lord of the Rings (check our full review) is an action-adventure game that takes the movie's epic events but re-imagines them "with the humor and endless variety of Lego play". This game is all about switching between several characters, collecting weapons and magical items, exploring the world and basically re-live the Lord of the Rings story. |Limbo||Limbo is a black and white puzzle-platforming adventure where you assume the role of a young boy traveling through a hostile world. Limbo's gameplay is as simple as it gets, but the art style and the atmosphere are so powerful, they remind you that video games are about immersion more than fancy graphics or features. First of all, we would like to thank you for all the feedback you have sent our way. As pointed out by many of you, the criteria used here needs to be crystal clear in order to avoid “How could you not add XXXX game?”. These are the criteria used for the list below:
- We only took into account “modern games”: They had to be released in the last 10 years on the Mac.
- The best were selected based on many things: Reviews, PC Metacritic scores, personal favorites.
