Apple is NOT lowering app affiliate commissions

Update: Apple has officially clarified the situation, and indeed, just as I discovered when directly contacting the iTunes Affiliates team, the change only applies to in-app sales: We’d like to clarify some changes being made to the Affiliate Program.
