Let’s bring Sociable Soccer to Mac and Linux!

Update: The thread asking for Mac and Linux version has over 100 comments and continues to grow. To that, developer Jon Hare said they will “consider Mac and Linux versions more seriously if interest continues to grow“. Still interested? Head over to the Steam thread and leave a comment! Let’s do something new. Let’s bring a game to Mac and Linux. We can actually make a difference and help bring a game we all desperately need: a good sports game. And especially a soccer one (or football for the rest of the World). FIFA isn’t coming anytime soon and this...

You can forget about Killing Floor 2 for Mac…

I think it’s time to go ahead and kill this rumor… We all got excited when first-person shooter Killing Floor 2 launched on Steam Early Access and developer Tripwire Interactive announced a Linux and SteamOS version. If they release it on Linux, why not on Mac, especially as the macOS platform is bigger. Or so I thought… When I finally got a hold of them, they said: @MacGamerHQ We will look at a mac version of #KillingFloor2 in the future, but are not actively working on one now. — Tripwire Interactive (@TripwireInt) April 8, 2015 Ever since, the Linux...

Civilization 6 for Mac: Summer 2017 Update and new DLC now Live

At the time, Civ 5 was a revolution, completely changing combat mechanics and proving that...

Fortnite’s Mac version is now Available – Including a new Survival Mode

Announced during Apple’s 2015 WWDC keynote, Fortnite’s Mac version is finally available. Released July 25, 2017, Fortnite can be purchased and played, although still in open beta. Fortnite aims to be a free-to-play game (at some point in 2008), but you can take part of the open beta if you shell out $39.99 or more. Besides the unfortunate trend of paying for an unfinished game that will be free once completed, Fortnite is an incredible tower defense shooter that uses Apple’s Metal engine: Fortnite is a construct-and-defend sandbox game that aims to combine exploration, building, and action. Fortnite is a big departure from Epic’s Unreal...

XCOM 2: War of the Chosen is now Available for Mac

It was promised this September, but XCOM 2: War of the Chosen was released today, August 31, 2017. That’s at least one full day in advance and we won’t complain! War of the Chosen is the latest Expansion to the beloved turn-based strategy game XCOM 2. Released for Windows on August 28, 2017, War of the Chosen’s Mac version can be downloaded from Steam or the Feral Store. But this isn’t your random DLC with a few new units and scenarios. For a while Firaxis, the team behind the XCOM series, thought War of the Chosen was big enough to...
